All of them proclaimed that “culture is the common ground on which a more dignified life is built, citizenship is constructed, democracies are strengthened, and the region is projected with greater cohesion and strength.”

This declaration is the result of the work of the Pacific Alliance Technical Group on Culture and incorporates, as a valuable precedent, the Arts for Peace program led by Colombia. This process demonstrates the bloc’s capacity for mutual learning and the adoption of good practices through South-South cooperation. This dynamic, which transcends borders, reflects the Alliance’s willingness to build joint solutions and project a common future based on culture.

With this document, the Pacific Alliance reaffirms its commitment to a culture that shapes critical and creative citizens, strengthens democracies, and promotes public policies that integrate education, culture, and the arts as tools for social transformation. Thus, the declaration stands as a bridge to sustainability and peace, proclaiming with a leading voice a clear and powerful message: culture is a right, an engine of peace, and the backbone of social and human development.

This is another achievement of the Pacific Alliance within the framework of Colombia’s Pro Tempore Presidency in 2025.

PPT Communications 2025 Pacific Alliance

[96,97

post-33724","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-noticias-en","category-noticias-slider-en
["GET
